Default Finding job on E3D vs EAD

Hello guys,

I am currently living in Sydney with my family and are Australian citizen.
I got my E3 and my husband got E3D. We are planning to move to Seattle in early June.

I have a question regarding finding a job(for my husband). As he got E3D, he either have to apply and wait for EAD before he can start working, which takes about 4-6 months. Another option is start searching for job and convert E3D to E3. My husband is into IT(testing / QA). He is on a senior position so he will be looking for a role of Manager/Architect.

My question is, how easy it would be to find an employer and convert E3D to E3. Are all the employers open to interview E3D candidates same way they do for EAD candidates? Do he need to compromise on opportunity/position /salary when applying on E3D?

Any help on this would be highly appreciated!
Chahat

Hi Chahat,

Off topic question, did you get an offer directly from the company/or did you go through a consultancy
