Where to live in spain for agriculture?

Hi all,

Thinking of moving to spain from ireland, both of us UK citizens.
(Could become irish citizens as been here so long if that helps us in spain post brexit?)

Sorry i have lots of questions!

Firstly,
We know spain is hot mostly.
Weĺre looking for areas that are in the north as we want to farm and raise animals.
We dont like baking hot summers, and freezing cold winters.
Would prefer 25-30 summers with winters that dont go below 5.

We prefer an area with some rainfall for crops and pasture. We would like for there to be grass available to graze in the summer. For horses mainly aswell as other smaller animals.

It seems north west is really cloudy and misty. We have that in west ireland, nothing grows quickly under heavy cloud, and endless rain. Its so depressing. We need some sunshine at some point during the year!

So which areas within provinces should we specifically look at?
Which areas should we really avoid due to terrible cloudy, misty, wet weather all year long?

This is a big move of an entire farm for us so we want to get it right!

Thanks so much in advance for your advice and suggestions! Even if that is to suggest a different country to move to more ideal for us!

Asturias, Cantabria, Vizcaya, Guip˙zcoa
There is always some rain in these regions, but I have spent quite a lot of time in these areas in the summer and you do get a summer with temperatures in high 20║'s to low 30║'s , and even more so now, unfortunately. The fields are green and lush, but there have been quite a few fires in recent years.
Galicia IMHO is too harsh and it's where the cold weather fronts sweep into the country. Beautiful to visit though.
You might want to think about this...

When you say "move an entire farm" do you mean you'd bring the animals over? Can't imagine that would be easy!
