Default Spain Pools with lifts for physically challenged

I found this to most useful in planning our trip back to Spain. We found in Spain when it came to Municipal pools that ALL had the proper access to the pool. Here in Medellin, when we moved here, they didn't have access to the pool let alone a lift. After informing the management and showing them pictures of various pool lifts, now after construction for the South American games, we have fully accessible pools and lifts. What's really cool is that they took the model I had at my old home in the eeuu..and make it right here in Medellin. We are very proud of this!

This not only includes hotels but a list of the Municipal pools by department!

Hope this helps my fellow challenged travelers!

I've seen these wonderful amphibious wheelchairs on the Costa de la Luz. Volunteers will take you right into the water!

Sweet...I've used similar...but how cold is the water right now?...I may need at least a wet suit vest...

Spain draws me because they are very socially inclusive especially in how the incorporate my favorite design concept, "equal, not special".

Currently 15 to 17 Celsius - don't know what that is in your language, but it's too darn cold for me! I won't be going in before June.
