Default Middle East Companies struggling to find top talent

I don't say so, The Financial Times does.

Some of you might find it interesting....

eg

Quote:
Five years ago, as companies raced to fill new offices, a lawyer with an impressive CV and an idea that Dubai could be interesting might have been a strong candidate, says Louise Wall, a managing consultant with legal recruiter Laurence Simons.
Today, she says, with the Dubai market still recovering and more mature, companies can be choosy and need to be convinced to bring in someone new from abroad.

A lot will disagree with me, my apologies to them, however the middle east only attracts expats with low or no talent unable to make it big in their own countries.

Of course there are exceptions and those that are conned into coming. But their number is limited.

They're not looking in the right places.
Stop applying western recruitment policies.

I'd still rather do 150 here (and pay tax) than do it in middle east - you're free here, that's why they have to pay caviar yet still get monkeys...

Actually I find I feel freer here than in AU.
Depends on the perspective mate.

Irrespective of what you think your brother makes, it doesn't change the fact that the only people opting for the middle east are those that lack or have little talent.

For that limited talent that they have they still get paid twice as high as what they would have been paid in their home countries. Real talent still finds the middle east not an option.

Never had anything stolen from me in the mid east.
Can't say the same about your eastern europe.

Or the freedom that when my wife dropped a 500dhs note in the mart downstairs, they chased her outside to hand it back the next day
On and on I can give you these stories of safety and freedom.
but it's ok, your perspective is clear.
