Default Australia / Canada / US - Which country to choose?

I have read many threads in various forums comparing Australia Vs Canada or Australia vs US however still I am not able to zero down on any one answer

I wanted to check views from experienced friends in this forum on why they feel Australia scores over US and Canada?

This question can be answered by anyone however I understand that few folks who are born / brought up / native of any of these countries may have a soft corner towards their country. Request you to share neutral opinion assuming you are helping someone without any connection / attachment with these countries.

To limit the discussion, lets consider only While Collar Jobs (IT and related sectors) at the moment.

I have rated these countries below on certain parameters (important in decision making) based on purely views gathered from various forums on Internet. There may be slight variation in few parameters depending on personal choices.

Cost of Living : USA, Canada, Australia

Income : USA, Australia, Canada

Job Opportunity : USA, Australia, Canada

Healthcare : Canada, Australia, USA

Weather : Australia, USA, Canada

PR / Immigration : Canada, Australia, USA

Discrimination : Canada, Australia, USA

Transport (Roads / Highways) : USA, Canada, Australia

Infrastructure : USA, Canada, Australia

Security : Canada, Australia, USA

Kids Education : USA, Australia, Canada

Proximity to other countries : USA, Canada, Australia

Its a tough choice to single out any specific country however I am from India and I know given a chance, most of the folks out here would prefer USA.

I wanted to understand from friends here what motivates us moving to Australia despite sky high prices and cost of living?

I know this is never ending debate however still wanted to listen to the recent views of experienced folks.

This is a large list of items to compare.

Also, you are going to get a very biased view...people in this forum obviously have narrowed down on Australia and so that would their preference....

maybe you should post this in a more top level sub-forum?

The most important line is

PR / Immigration : Canada, Australia, USA

Do roads etc matter when you cannot live/work in the country? PR allows you to live as long as you like and not as long as the employer wants.

Rather than start a whole new thread on a topic that has been rehashed to death on this forum, might I suggest you read through some of the recent threads on this very subject. Such as these:

http://www.expatforum.com/expats/pla...vs-canada.html

http://www.expatforum.com/expats/pla...ssional-3.html

I should add that you will never get a "neutral answer" (whatever that means) from anyone on any forum as everyone has their own biases based on their own experiences, both positive and negative. We are not robots. We are humans and our opinions are coloured by our experiences. The sad truth is that a lot of making migration work to any country is a mixture of determination, skill, and just dumb luck/timing.
