Harden up mate. My life in central Victoria (Oz) some 40 years ago bore -6 to -8C,,,,, Some 17F and less.
Plenty of reasons to move north or as we do to PH. (sorry south in a northern climate)

Cheers, Steve.

doesn't bother me a bit...makes me feel good. Temps here go to -15-20 below 0 f. -8 c isn't cold..thats springtime temps here. This post was intended for americans who know the weather patterns at this time of yr and its barely fall yet. Not a complaint.

Until you have seen 49 with a minus sign in front and a C behind, you cannot complain about the cold.

Canadians go outside and play then lol

as stated,,im not complaining, just stating the new patterns,,my neighbors for many yrs were from Manitoba, they cross country ski to school many miles. I know Manitoba gets really cold. I also lived in Colorado rockies where a usual winter temp was -50 f at 10,000 ft,,u had to thaw boots by the stove before they would bend. We also downhill ski in that for fun. The wind at 30-40 mph on slopes combined with -30-50 f are a bit chilly. But then to Siberians those temps are summertime.

I am from Ohio originally. the coldest I have ever seen the actual weather was -36 F. the chill factor was about -50 f. I think that was in the winter of 69. Am not sure. I remember nobody could start their vehicles. That lasted for 3 days. It was an air mass coming from the Arctic.
