Now that the weather has reached 90"s I really like this....put in ref for 12-24 hrs and drink. Very smooth low acid....

You don't even need a press for cold brewed coffee. Just put course ground coffee ( grain size like sand) in a pot and simply strain it after about 24 hours, it can brew cold or room temperature.

I have a portable drip coffee maker that I use to filter it but have also used my drip machine, just put in a filter and pour the coffee and grounds through it to filter out the grounds.

Watch out, very easy to drink a lot when it is nice and cold on a hot day but it still has the same punch as normal hot brew.

Hint: I dissolve some honey in a little hot water, then fill the jug with cold water and add the coffee. Very tasty.

Made cold brew 20 yrs ago without a press, guys in my church group use to laugh at the staining on my coffee cup......Used a filter from an old coffee maker but the cold press makes it even better because no goodies escape the press.
Its so smooth no additives needed. Black is Good!!! Try it when its 90 plus!! Today 93f,tomorrow 97...with heat index 105-110 degrees
Picked my press up at okayokay for 40 php

When I make coffee, I add a small amount of ground cinnamon to the coffee grounds. Adds a delicious taste and does have some health benefits. No cream or sugar. Also use cinnamon & honey mix stirred in oatmeal. So good.
