Tories win

Another 5 years with Tories. Talk here. Keep civil.

I'm glad I'm not on any benefits--I'd be very worried about my future if I were.
I'm also glad I got my ILR application in, so that any future jiggery with immigration law will be less likely to affect me. I was already burned once by Tories trying to keep UKIP voters happy. :(

I live in Scotland, so I'm also wondering if there'll be another indy ref.

The cult of personality lives on.
Thatcher and Blair and Johnson won because of their personalities; Major and Corbyn lost because of their lack of a personality.
Same applied in the US with Trump and in France with Macron.
In Scotland Sturgeon won but whatever the Libdems leaders name was, lost - she like Corbyn has no personality.
Politics is not about policies any more, it is about which leader has the most charisma.
Farage is/was popular with some people (mostly loud beer drinkers) because he was charismatic but not sufficiently so for him to get into Westminster.

No, they won because of what they promised voters.
