Have you tried looking in SEEK? You can search jobs based on location and this should give a fair understanding on whats available on those areas.

Good Luck

I am sorry for the late reply. Somehow missed this post. I never got proper reply because Central west region started 489 very recently. Coming to my case it took almost 7months for visa grant.

Luckily I actually got in job in central west when applied from offshore itself. So currently there is little shortage of IT jobs.Wages are little low I guess.

Will be landing there next month and will more information added accordingly.

Hello there,

I am landing in Sydney on 21st and going to Bathurst from there as thats my work location. I am booking a temporary accommodation for 2 weeks and later will move to property of 250$ per week there and maybe will do the bond(contract).

Would like to know approximately how much initial amount or cash shall I take from here noting that I will get paid next after 2 months. I do have to settle with my wife and kid 4yr old.

Hello Everyone,

It took almost 2 months for me to come back to website and update this post. Such a busy life and lot of things to take care as I landed here with my wife and kid.

I will surely update again with my travel, House search, Indian community, car purchase tips, etc and life in central west(Bathurst and Orange) and more in my coming posts.

See you guys around.
