Default Salary guide 2018

The Robert Half salary guide for 2018 is out. I know most people here are curious about this and also too lazy to search the web, so...

I tried to attach it to this thread but it's 5.71 MB and that exceeds the forum's limit of 2.00 MB. I'm sharing it on my Dropbox but can't guarantee that it will be there forever.

Some notes:
  • These are AVERAGE numbers; individual situations can differ.
  • It is typical for those who are newly arrived to Australia to earn considerably less until they have sufficient local experience. Until you're considered a local, you're likely to be at the lower end of the spectrum or even below. (I know I was!)
  • It all depends! First, there's the company itself: small company VS. big company, start-up VS. mature, business type (consultancy or not), location (city VS. country), other benefits (e.g. you may get a car, but and get less cash). It also depends on YOU: you may have specific skills for which a company is willing to pay a premium, you may have additional skills that can make you more valuable, you may be slightly under qualified or tick only some of the boxes, not to mention how you present yourself and how much you can get people to like you and to want to work with you.
