Couldn't be bothered Smeggie, but believe me we have had shocking weather and multiple damaging storms here and that looks to continue for some yet. Temps have generally been low, but seem inclined to shoot up briefly to the mid teens just before a big storm hits. I saw 130 kph in Bretagne and had to laugh given we had a totally unforecast storm hit here at 5.00 am a few days ago with 135 km plus gusts - one of the complaints in the Béarn was that only the local media covered it and as far as the rest of France was concerned it simply never happened. Oh and you should see the damage done to the apartment complex next door, which is a recent build and one of those résidences de très haute standing Given I'm still posting, you know that I didn't get electrocuted when the power lines went down

Edit/ We have had very heavy rain with one short break so ignore the term "showers". Accuweather is always totally inaccurate down here, but then all the weather apps are.

It's taking its toll on you, EH.

We had the wind last week, not personally , but my garden shed did three cart wheels, which I've never had before.

I was quite surprised the birthday cards didn't go up to 110.

I was hopping for some pictures of the Vosges.

I would beat EH in guessing where they are.

I would expect so, given Clic Clac lives in a different area of the Vosges to where my family live and although I have been through the area around Nancy several times, it was only 'on the way through' and I didn't stop.

That is Les Vosges at the moment. And for the past 5 months.

Marti Pellow.

Thought you would be 'hopping to it' to get your licence exchanged.

Wasn't the new website opening this week?

Smeg is on the case.

Waiting for a certificate from DVLA.

Not for babies that website.

I can't believe the amount of stuff we have to give.

Welcome to France.

Welcome to France.
But doesn't everything work perfectly in the UK?
As for the paperwork, you have to remember that you are no longer an EU citizen, though the current requirements are actually somewhat less rigorous than for other non-EU citizens?
