Zorro speaks like a true alarmist spreading fear. Fear sells. What is Zorro selling? One wonders.

If anyone wants to go back to the States due to fear of crime here, he/she should begin by checking the crime rate in the place they came from. That'll provide some fear !

There is a resentment of the indigenous and you can try to spin that any way you want but it is real and I'll bet this is just the beginning of a trend of killing expats for no other reason other than to discourage others from moving there and those there to leave.

"To understand this new right, it helps to see it not as a fringe movement, but a powerful counterculture.

With a worldview based entirely on resentment: of seven things in particular.

Immigrants: New arrivals diluting the imagined racial purity of nation-states.

Globalists: Promoters of free trade, exchange, and movement across borders.

Snowflakes: College students and Twitter users offended by racist, sexist, and homophobic jokes.

Feminists: Women who insist on equal treatment and equal rights.

Interventionists: Bleeding hearts disturbing the sovereignty of foreign states.

Journalists: Clueless, out-of-touch, hopelessly liberal media.

Elites: The rich puppet-masters of a decadent West.

In some ways, it’s easy to define the movement by what it doesn’t care about. Not just the pieties of the left, but those of the Establishment Right as well: corporatism, taxes, cultural inclusiveness at a rhetorical level at least. Much as the tea party (a small group punching above its weight class through lunatic obstinacy and support from the Koch network) hijacked the Republican Party from inside by appealing to its sense of purity, the alt-right (a small group punching above its weight class through sheer lunatic web-savvy) swerved the party off its plotted course by an obsessive focus on some of the uglier, and often unofficial, aspects of the GOP platform that had been used for decades to appeal to the ever-poorer and less-educated base of the party."

The real dedicated far right political enablers stick to immigrants legal and illegal on the otherside of the border. Not on this side as this is their country not a concern of any US Republican propagandist. IMO

Zorro´post are full of shadenfreude and it reflects his sad and lonely personality.. He has nothing to do in his area so he trolls on various forums
I have lived in the area for 20 years and have never been the victim of a crime ..
My Mexican neighbors watch my house and everything is fine. The area has great amenities, great climate, what is reported as crime on that facebook site happens everywhere whether you live in Mexico , Paris or San Francisco and especially if you are not streetwise. This is Mexico not some Disneyland place so behave like if you were in Mexico and do not live in remote or isolated areas f you do not speak Spanish and if you do not fit in the culture.
The woman who got her dog killed and had men on his roof got herself on the wrong side of the local hoodlums in Mismaloya and she should get out of there while she ca, She lives on the south part of the lake which is a different area altogether but then yo have to live here to know that

There are no home invasions, burglaries, violent purse snatchings or constant car thefts daily like there are in Chapala anywhere else in Mexico. I've lived here for years and began outing Chapala as a sewer in 04. The crime against expats there is higher than any other part of the country so the city falsifies the reports reducing reported crime by 70% and that is a fact. All to keep the 22 million annually coming in from the expats. You can spin, lie and call it BS all you want, the truth is out now.

Zorro you missed your call, you could be working for Fox News with all that great information. One good thing about Chapala is that you do not live there.

Sad and lonely? Who exactly is sad and lonely? Chapala's infrastructure is overwhelmed now with sewage problems, terrible traffic and worse internet. They are behind on payments to the municipality.

Bill Dahl lives there and is exposing the terrible infrastructure, extremely high crime and pollution so bad children are pissing pesticides and glyphosate. The realtors are trying to say it's genetics and inbreeding, yeah, right. As long as the money comes in.

"Bill Dahl lives there". Nope. Bill Dahl has spent 4 weeks in that area and relies heavily on the notorious Lisa Jorgensen for his "facts". Enough said. Mexico News Daily had another article by him pointing out all the reasons boomers are moving to Mexico. "Both sides now."

Like Citlali, I've lived here more than a decade in a mixed neighborhood where we look after one another. Not much action around here.

So you can blast Citlali for speculating as to the motive but it’s alright if you do so?

You posted a fairly shocking event... I reacted to that shocking Post after looking at three Forums for further information. I was denying nothing... just shocked. Citlali, who lives there and is VERY close to and knowledgeable of the National’s culture both there and in Chiapas, commented with one sentence. IMO, your’s is a HUGE over reaction to our Posts! Readers here will get to make up their own minds as to who might be out of line.
There's a difference between pointing out what she said and blasting her, the difference is I didn't blame the victim as she did suggesting that he was involved in something. She has a habit of doing that just like she did with the Covington youth. Instead of waiting for the truth to come out, she pounced on the fake news snippet designed to provoke a liberal response and as we see, it worked.

When the full video was shown it was the native American who approached the boy and got all up in his face taunting him. The liar claimed to be a "Viet Nam veteran" when in fact he never set foot in Nam but was a refrigerator repair man. No retraction was put here.

Now again the victim was blamed but I'm the bad guy huh?
