Default WHOSE FAULT:shutdown?

Let's back up here: Candidate Trump, with no input from Mexico, made the wild campaign promise that if he were elected, there would be a "big beautiful wall" built along the border to keep out illegals, and best yet, MEXICO would pay for it.

We know what happened. Mexico rejected it. Trump then decided that the U.S. should pay for it. It's been estimated at costing in the neighborhood of twenty five BILLION bucks. Fiscal conservatives of both parties were appalled.

Congress didn't come up with this wild idea, and the best they thought additional border security was worth in the budget was 1.5 billion.

But NO. This was a sacred CAMPAIGN PROMISE. HIS. Her never got that promise from the American people or the Congress, but now he's wiling to SHUT DOWN THE GOVERNMENT if he doesn't get his way. Does this smack of dictator think?

But, as of now, he's blaming the Democrats for failing to support HIS promise.

GREAT BIG FAT LOGIC ALERT!

The power of a President to throw a temper tantrum and affect millions of individuals. Interesting item to add to one's resume. Ah America.
