After hearing some outrageous claims regarding how this huge caravan formed, my curiosity was sufficiently piqued to read this new long article and find many answers to obvious questions I had. It's an interesting read, so here goes:

I've read similar articles which explain the caravan as a (mostly) spontaneous exodus of people looking for a better life, an escape from poverty and the threats of local gangs. While I don't think it was sponsored by the Democratic Party or George Soros (or even Trump operatives), I have my suspicions that there's something going on here that we don't know about.

As it happens, your suspicions are shared. The politics of the original organizer do pop out and what his agenda in intended to result in is anyone's guess.

Soros has been a busy guy this week, if you believe paranoid wingnuts. After rounding up a few thousand Hondurans and shepherding them north to invade the U.S., he took time out to send a bomb to himself.

I wonder if these caravan people will reach the U.S. boarder by election day ! Five thousand people being driven forth by the social media app on their mobile phones - the military and police can't compete with that.

This whole political climate in the U.S. has become like the Wild West. Annie Oakley get your Twitter on.

Christmas in October, this couldn't have come at a better time for Republicans. Illegal immigration was a huge part of what resonated with American voters and got Trump voted in. This caravan has galvanized those voters and they are motivated. CNN probably didn't show the huge rally in Houston. The lineup started a day in advance, filled the stadium and filled the streets outside. The MSM is already scrambling trying to say that the pictures of the crowd were of "the Cav's Championship parade" but too many other reported the truth. One woman said,

HOUSTON — Lisa Brewer wanted to get to President Trump’s rally early. She did, and then some — she and her daughter-in-law set down their chairs in line at 10 a.m. Sunday, more than 32 hours before the president was scheduled to step on stage at a downtown Houston arena on Monday evening.

“I’m here to support my president,” said Ms. Brewer, 55, a logistics-company worker who was the first in line, and who had not slept a wink, as she stood behind yellow police tape outside the Toyota Center. “He talks to the people.”

According to The Daily Caller, "President Donald Trump’s rally with Texas Sen. Ted Cruz on Monday night reportedly had around eight times as many people as former President Barack Obama’s rally in Nevada, which happened on the same day.

"There was such a large response that the president decided to change the venue of the rally. It was moved to the Toyota Center in Houston, which holds 18,000 people.

Before the rally itself, the Trump campaign revamped the rally from simply an evening event, to an all-day tailgate after approximately 100,000 people RSVP’ed to the event."

So, this "caravan" which is really an illegal invasion is the best thing that could have happened to solidify the Republicans into a solid base. They will be met with force at the border, the 83rd Airborne and an armored division has already received marching order. This is going to get ugly real fast.

Maybe Ms Brewer should take a nap.

CNN made an interesting comment - that Trump is losing his base and is resorting to old campaign tactics of fear and hate, especially in referencing himself as a 'nationalist' - to gain support from like minded groups.

That embarrassing moment when someone uses CNN as a source of information. CNN had Hillary winning by 95%, did you not learn anything from this? Trump is not "losing his base", on the contrary people are now more motivated than ever by this illegal invasion. CNN is painting them as all hard working men, innocent women and children, law abiding citizens while showing footage of them tearing down the fence and scuffling with the police. This alone demonstrates how they act when they are asked to obey the law. This shows how they intend to act at the American border.
