Unfortunately our country has gotten to the point that only the super rich are able to run for the highest office and I agree we should be able to do much better with our choices.

But we had a choice of a socialist, a person with a proven track record of lying and a very questionable and suspicious charitable foundation supported by middle eastern interests and a capitalist that can't control his mouth.

Through the systematic programming and brainwashing, years of being fed socialist views in college and now even grade school, nearly 50% of young Americans now have a favorable view of socialism, they just don't understand that it doesn't work, look at Venezuela. Their governing motto is "Give me." Give me free a free college education, absolve me of my financial debts, give me free health care, give me free benefits until I find the job I deem commensurate with my college degree."

What they don't understand is that nothing is free if your neighbor pays for it.

It is genuinely hard for me to even try to discuss Hillary in civil terms. Unlike others here, I won't just call her names, but to try to say she is not a proven liar is indefensible. She even lies when she is not under oath, such as landing under sniper fire in Bosnia, that Benghazi was a spontaneous protest to a Youtube video, (the man who made that video did time and his life was ruined) that she was dead broke when they left the White House, I could go on and on but it becomes glaringly obvious when Comey was being questioned by Trey Gowdy, Clinton said she never sent or received any classified information over her private e-mail which Comey admitted was a lie, she said that nothing was marked classified in her emails, Comey again said that was a lie, she said she only used one device, Comey said that too was a lie, Clinton said all work related emails were returned to the State Department, Comey verified that they found work related email, thousands, that were not returned. You can see the rest of the lies here..

https://www.cnbc.com/2016/07/07/rep-...ns-intent.html

She lied to the FBI but the fix was in, the then Attorney General Loretta Lynch met with Bill Clinton in secret on her private plane during her investigation to discuss "Grandkids."

Trump is a loud mouth, I personally believe he was making fun of a disabled man to reporters regardless of what this administration says. He can't seem to control his mouth which is an embarrassment but that is the only issue that I have with him because I look at what he does, not what he says. His track record in just one year is great.

The Obama administration fiddled around for 8 years costing thousands of American lives dropping flyers to our enemies giving them a 45 minute warning about impending bomb runs to "Cut civilian casualties". He effectively muzzled our military with insane rules of engagement. The Trump administration took the gloves off of our military and now the leaders of Iraq and Iran both declare that Isis has been militarily defeated in one year, they still exist in their caves but they no longer are a valid fighting force in these countries.

The stock market is consistently breaking new records while the liberals try to take credit for that, Obama had eight years and suddenly now with new blood it takes off? Unemployment is at a 17 year low, over a million less people are on food stamps,
China agreed to import American beef, median household income is at a 7 year high, 89 billion saved in regulation rollbacks, 600 million cut from the UN budget, giving power to states to drug test unemployment recipients, he cut the individual mandate forcing Americans to buy a product, I could go on and on but one of the best things he has done in my opinion was to create a commission on voter fraud.

Watch what he does, not what he says.

I agree, I do take issue with a man being allowed into the restroom with my grand daughters and think this is insane. Once you open that door and allow it, you can't deny anyone access even if they are apparently not trans gendered and are just a man wanting to see women in the bathroom or some freak with fetishes. I won't raise someone's skirt to verify their sex but there has to be a line drawn somewhere and the restroom should be a private place where children can feel safe. It is insane in my opinion and not economically possible to make the majority uncomfortable to meet the needs of the few.

One species with 63 genders? How do schools, businesses and government buildings accommodate bathroom arrangements that please everyone?

Trans gender surgery costs over $100,000 and a lifetime of hormone therapy. Our military has a lot of pre existing conditions that can exclude a person from military service, particularly if the condition is going to involve a burden of expense for the life of the candidate. Even ulcers, hepatitis, pancreatitis, hernias, hemmorhoids, the list is long and can be seen here.

https://www.military.com/join-armed-...onditions.html

Critics jumped on the bandwagon pointing out that Viagra is covered. I don't think our military physically checks for erectile dysfunction before enlistment but I also don't doubt that PTSD can be a major contributing factor to it.

The question is is trans genderism a physical or psychological condition? In either case it is a pre existing condition not caused by or contributed to by military service and therefore any sexual reassignment surgery should not be the taxpayers burden and paid for by the military. As it stands now, it is a free service that many transgendered people take advantage of.

This is not being prejudiced toward these people in any way. Our military has one purpose, to protect and defend our country from all enemies foreign and domestic. It is not a free clinic for pre existing, expensive surgeries.

"Unemployment

4.4 percent – lowest since May 2007

As reported in the Washington Post, government data released on 5 May 2017 indicated that the national unemployment rate hit a new low in April:

The U.S. job market rebounded strongly last month and the unemployment rate fell to the lowest level seen in a decade, government data released Friday morning showed, calming fears that had bubbled up in the past month about the state of the economy.

Employers added 211,000 jobs in April as the unemployment rate ticked down to 4.4 percent, the lowest level since May 2007.

It bears pointing out that the jobless rate had already been on a steady decline since 2010. Further, unemployment hit a previous nine-year low of 4.6 percent in December 2016 when President Obama was still in office.
It climbed back up to 4.8 percent in January, dipped to 4.7 percent in February, and to 4.5 percent in March 2017."

"Reinvestment

SoftBank $50B
Exxon $20B
Hyundai $3.1B
Apple $1B
Chrysler $1B
GM $1B
Bayer AG $1B
Toyota $600M
LG $250M

This is a mostly-accurate, partial list of corporations who have announced investments in American facilities and/or jobs since the election of Donald Trump. With the exception of Bayer AG (which announced $8 billion in new investments, not $1 billion as claimed), the dollar amounts match those cited in press reports between January and April 2017 (sources: Softbank, Exxon Mobil Corp., Hyundai-Kia, Apple, Fiat Chrysler, General Motors, Bayer AG, Toyota, LG Electronics).

It’s not necessarily accurate to characterize all of these commitments as “accomplishments” of President Trump, however. As CBS Moneywatch’s Irina Ivanova reported in January 2017:

Few of the jobs companies are promising to create in the U.S. can be attributed to a sudden renewed commitment to USA Inc. inspired by Trump’s “America First” policies. Indeed, the businesses Trump has been quick to praise have been careful not to characterize their recent hiring announcements as new. And as usual with corporate investments of this scale, such plans are typically months — or even years — in the making, suggesting they long predate the presidential election.

"Budget Surplus

$182B in April 2017

It is true that the U.S. Treasury reported a $182 billion budget surplus in April 2017, the largest April surplus since 2001 (and the second-largest in history), according to MarketWatch. It’s unclear exactly how that surplus is attributable to President Trump, however. April is typically a surplus month because of tax receipts. In addition, citing a Congressional Budget Office (CBO) review as its source, Associated Press reported that the April 2017 surplus was “inflated” because of a tax deadline change allowing corporations to pay federal taxes in April that in previous years were paid in March.

It remains to be seen what effect Tump’s policies will have on the budget deficit for 2017 as a whole (the fiscal year ends on 30 September). The CBO projects a 4.6 percent drop in the deficit from what it was in 2016, but that is based on laws and policies already in effect when Trump took office."

"Consumer Confidence

Currently at 125.6

It’s true that the Consumer Confidence Index, a metric assessing how ordinary consumers feel about the strength of the economy, hit 125.6 in March 2017, its highest point since 2000. It is also true that it fell five points to 120.3 the following month. Even so, it showed that consumers (as of April) had more confidence in the economy under Trump than under Obama, during whose administration the index never exceeded 113.7 (although it did manage to rise to that point after bottoming out in 2009 at 25)."

"$100M to Flint, Michigan

Water contamination crisis started in April 2014

It’s true that in March 2017, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) awarded a $100 million grant to the state of Michigan to upgrade the drinking water infrastructure in Flint, which experienced a lead pollution crisis potentially affecting as many as 100,000 people beginning in 2014. There has been some dispute, however, over whether this ought to be labeled a “Trump accomplishment” or an “Obama accomplishment.” "

Filter your obviously tainted view toward wanting to believe it is all true and positive for all Americans and see what your list actually is. Many are simply statistics that are true but not far behind what has already being happening for a long time before Trump and some did not last except for a brief time when Trump was in office or was a very small bump hardly worth noting. Many on your list are called 1/2 truths and not because of anything Trump or Republicans did specifcally.

Also an exapmle of things bad for Americans and reckless legistaion. IMO

An example and there are more on your list.

"9. Pulled out of the lopsided Paris accord
10. Keystone pipeline approved
24. $600 million cut from UN peacekeeping budget
36. Reversed Dodd-Frank
37. Repealed DOT ruling which would have taken power away from local governments for infrastructure planning
39. End of DAPA program"

Why do you hate Liberals? Is it because they are truthful and concerned about Americans in general? I can't believe that a rational person considers that entire list as positive "accomplishments". Many of the things on that list are negatives, unless you think that destroying the environment for the sake of increasing profit is a good thing. However, that's his list and I'm sure he couldn't be persuaded otherwise. Probably copied directly from a right wing publication.

No matter what the facts may be, Hillary Clinton does not have horns. She was simply too unlikable, with too many iffy clouds over her head to be a good selection for the candidate, but there's no need to demonize her. Furthermore, it's over. One poster offered "truthiness" in wondering why, in a nation of around three million people, these were the choices offered for POTUS; A woman with baggage or a morally bankrupt opportunist. Yes.....a shame, but the answer is simple: follow the money. Until politics and money get a divorce, there won't be a good selection for the public to choose from.

On another level, I've noticed for years now that some religious groups have the notion that whey are being persecuted: witness the utter fiction about a "war on Christmas", when every year that Obama was in office, he publicly wished the nation a "Merry Christmas" IN THOSE WORDS, usually with pictures of his family to go with it. This year, we are treated to a TV ad with the picture of a very blond, very white little girl thanking Trump for bringing back Christmas. In fact, it never left.

How hard is it to accept that the nation is diverse in its beliefs and that that is as it should be ?. Christians celebrate the religious aspect of Christmas: merchants take full advantage of the season no matter what their own beliefs may be. Nobody pays attention to Muslim holidays. Jews have no reason to celebrate Christmas and the same with citizens following different philosophies, such as Buddhism. A goodly number today are unbelievers in any of the above and that number is increasing by the year. In America, we are all entitled to our beliefs...or lack of them. The level of hypocrisy in some quarters is downright gag worthy.

I am sad that my mother country has been reduced to such a level of mean spirited thought and behavior. If history serves, it is getting ripe for a "strongman" and Fascism. I doubt that Trump is the man for that job, but who knows who's waiting in the wings?

Liberals are misinformed due to the news that they choose to believe which is biased and daily fake news that is intentionally totally misleading. I look at CNN every morning and it is nothing but anti Trump rhetoric, as many as 6 or 7 headlines daily because this is what their follows want to see. They are consistently caught in lies.

According to you any alternative view is "far right" if it doesn't meet your anti Republican agenda. What you fail to realize us that there are two sides at least to every story and fail to realize that you are being guided in one direction which is in fact very far left. All of the rest of the mainstream media follows suit. Look back at the election polls which were flat out lies designed to discourage Republicans from even voting. They lied to you daily.

Snopes was debunked long ago as a liberal controlled site as I said they lost all credibility when they denied that Hillary laughed while talking about getting a child molester off. I heard the audio and it is still available but you probably don't want to hear it. "I got him off, who cares?"

Kathy Shelton still cares. She was 12 years old when she was raped by a 41 year old man and Hillary laughed while discussing it. The liberal media has distorted the truth but her own words are the ones we should believe.

Rape Victim: Hillary Laughed At Me And Blamed Me For Getting Raped
Donald Trump wrongly says Hillary Clinton laughed at a 12-year-old rape victim | PolitiFact

"The article notes that she can be heard laughing at several points on the tape, but it doesn't say she was laughing at the victim, as Trump claims.

She is "discussing the crime lab’s accidental destruction of DNA evidence that tied (the accused man, Thomas Alfred) Taylor to the crime," destruction that led the prosecution to seek a plea deal on a lesser charge, according to the article. (For the record, DNA testing as we know it was years away, but labs did determine blood type in criminal cases in that era.)

"I plea bargained it down because it turned out they didn't have any evidence," Clinton says. In the tape, available on YouTube, Clinton says of the case, "It's sad." "

Rape Victim: Hillary Laughed At Me And Blamed Me For Getting Raped

Wikipedia on The Federalist news source:

"David Weigel from Bloomberg Politics said that The Federalist frequently criticizes left-leaning publications, but was founded with the intention of being "a source of original interviews and real-time arguments between conservatives and libertarians".[9] During the 2016 U.S. presidential election, some political commentators noted a shift in The Federalist's coverage of Donald Trump, first criticizing the presidential candidate, and then, after Trump won the presidency, criticizing Trump's liberal critics in the media and casting Trump as the victim."

More confirmation Trump lied about the story and a video of him doing it.

"Hillary Clinton successfully defended an accused child rapist and later laughed about the case.

Mostly False

"The audio on these tapes is difficult to understand, but Clinton can be heard describing the case as “terrible.” She did audibly laugh or chuckle at points, not about “knowing that the defendant was guilty” or “getting a guilty guy off” (which makes little sense, given that the defendant pled guilty) but rather while musing about how elements of the case that might ordinarily have supported the prosecution worked in the defendant’s favor (i.e., observing that the defendant’s passing a polygraph test had “forever destroyed her faith” in that technology):"

Listen to the tapes if you don´t believe Snopes.

Seems all the reliable new sources including Snopes disagree with your rt. wing news source this time. Maybe it is you who needs to get off of the far rt. wing news media and not the rest of us who believe honesty is the best policy and will continue to stick to reliable news sources - Thank You very much.
