I've moved this to a thread of its own in the discussion section of the forum, as it's "that time of year" (i.e. when people are looking for summer jobs) and the topic probably bears some discussion.

To answer your question - a non-EU national cannot work at all if they have entered France on a tourist visa of any sort. There are some work options available for those on a student visa. To obtain a "work permit" (i.e. the right to work) you generally need to be on a sponsored work visa and that will limit your work to the employer who sponsored your visa (and got permission to hire a foreigner).

If you're a student outside of the EU, it may be possible to arrange a "stage" (internship) in France for a few months. This is basically a work-study exchange that you do as a part of whatever degree or study program you're engaged in.
Cheers,
Bev

If you are an Australian aged 30 and under, then you can apply for French working holiday visa valid a year. Details from French consulate/embassy.

Sorry 'bout that. But the post you were replying to was several months old. The fact remains that, without a visa and work permit, you can't be hired for casual work at all in France.
Cheers,
Bev

Being rude to the moderator doesn't change the fact the other post was months old, especially when you have been given some information from your orginal post.

No, only if the other country allows you to, by issuing a work visa. You have the right to work in NZ, but that's just about it.

If I wanted to go to New Zealand I would stay in Australia

Its just ridiculous
I am Being Prevented from getting a visa for european countrys, Because I don't have a University Education ( Masters, Batchlors etc) and the desired money wealth to do so. (I just have to have a High Education.)

I find that rediculous that they won't except Skilled Workers, They let a African in on a humanitary Visa, They let a Muslim in on a humanitarian / family visa.

The thing is , though, as an Australian (and with no other passport or visa such as EU, UK ancestry etc), NZ is the only country that allows you to live and work without a visa or permit. All other countries require you to have a necessary visa before you can seek work and take up an offer. And in this day of global stagnation and unemployment, countries only issue visas if it's in their economic interest to do so, such as meeting a genuine shortage of skilled labour. Younger people often get a preferential offer of a working holiday on a reciprocal basis, since the numbers are limited and are unlikely to have a negative effect on job market. They also make an exception for family reunion, so that those who are in genuine long-term relationship or marriage with a national can live together and are allowed to settle. Genuine students too can contribute positively to the host country and some countries give them chance of a job when they finish, to keep the best young talent within its borders.
