Default French Electrics - New Wiring

Hi, does anybody have a very accurate English translation, or can anybody direct me to one, of the current legislation for NEW wiring in France? I know it is very complex as I've just had a property wired and am awaiting the consuel.

Google on NF C 15-100 which is the French Norme for electricity.

I d/ld a copy from - I think - Schneider but the pictures are good enough to follow.

Thanks for that, but I don't think it'll help. The friend that wants it has no French at all!

Unfortunately, technical docs like this are only rarely translated in France. When they are, it's normally well after they are first released, and the quality of the translation leaves much to be desired.
Cheers,
Bev

Give it a go anyway.

IF they have enough technical knowledge to recognise an RCB, and can read figures such as 1.5mm, 2.5mm, and know what a kW is, then they'll be OK.

If they can't, do not let them anywhere near your home with a screwdriver or any sharp object.

...and as Bev says, pidgin english is no english at all.
