Default FranceConnect and retraite

I am trying to start the retirement process for my husband but now I can't get into FranceConnect, it says I am blocked. I have a password for Securite Sociale and I can get into that site. When I am in the Securite Sociale website there is a box that says "ask for your retraite". I clicked on that and it brings me to FranceConnect. I then entered his SS number and his password and it keeps locking me out saying this is not the correct password, but the password works for the SS site. I assumed that the same password is used for both sites? How do I start his retirement process if I cannot connect with FranceConnect?

Have you ever set up a FranceConnect account?
I don't see why it would automatically accept the same log in details as a different account.

Because you can use France Connect to connect to many services by using your login details for other services you are already registered with.
See:

https://franceconnect.gouv.fr/

EDIT: Without having to create a number of separate, new accounts

Confused now. I thought I remembered once spending half a morning setting up a FranceConnect account.
As I recall I did it because I needed to connect to ANTS to get a code that I needed to get rid of a car, does that sound likely?
But it was ages ago and maybe I'm thinking about something else entirely

When you go into the France Connect site it gives you several options on how to connect to it and one of them is Securite Sociale, so I clicked that box, and entered all the info and that's when it said your account is blocked, but the site for Securite Sociale works fine with the password. So I don't know if I have to set up an account specifically for France Connect but can't find anything about that. I do not want to go the SS offices.

I just recently used FranceConnect to log into Ameli for my wife because she had not received her Sécu définitif, and couldn't create an Ameli account without it. Once she logged in using FranceConnect, she could see her Numéro définitif and all was well. But, she did not, per-se, create a FranceConnect account.

I think the OP's issue may have to do with trying to use FranceConnectand with an unsupported service.

So a question for solost1992. When you say Securité Social, do you mean "MSA - santé, famille, retraite?" If not what site are you referring to?

Just a thought.

Are you logged in to the SS site with your husband's number and PW, or with yours?

Ah yes that rings a bell now. I think perhaps I used my tax account details, to get into FranceConnect, to get into ANTS.
Thanks for sorting that one out, and apologies for the confusion.

I just tried to do what you want to do:

I went to https://www.securite-sociale.fr/accueil

I then scrolled down and clicked on the logo "Assurance Retraite", which took me to https://www.lassuranceretraite.fr/po...info/home.html

I then scrolled down to "Demander ma retraite", where I was invited to log into my espace personnel either with my SS number and PW OR via France Connect.

As I don't have a PW for this site (l'Assurance Retraite), I clicked on France Connect, THEN entered my SS number and PW, wherupon I was identified, even though I'm not even in the French SS system

Very helpful. Now a key question, which of the supported services did you select for the FranceConnect login?
