Ok, all joking aside I HAVE observed this quite a few times now. Guys holding guys hands and women holding womens hands... like at the mall, at the beach, etc...

So my question is as follows. I cant hug my gf in public or give her a quick peck on the lips but two guys can hold hands? (I dont have a problem with people being gay, Im just a tad confused... as in my opinion you'd think its more traditionally accepted for a man to hug a woman than two men, let me reiterate, i have gay friends and I dont have a problem with homosexuality, so if youre a troll, find a new thread to disturb)

LOL! I think the confusion may follow this as most people assume we are one and the same........

And for anyone wondering how I post so quickly under the two different names, I have two laptops! Hahahaha.

Jimbo, I KNEW someone would point out that one sentence, in fact, originally that was the whole sentence and when I reread it... "i dont have a problem with gay, im just confused" i figured "oh crap, let me add some more to this before anyone makes fun. But you literally took seconds to highlight it!!! LOL

Well youre either American or youre not. You cant be "somewhat American" or "somewhat British".

A non-Western culture. Not all the world is like the US.

Watch and learn and you can take the lessons back home with you....

Still doesnt answer my question. Its obvious its a non western culture, otherwise I wouldnt have asked.

Any idea which culture it is? I think its great that it (that culture) can show affection that way. In my family we tell each other we love each other even amongst the men, like after a phone call with my brother, I tell him "I love you" but its not very common in the US. Same thing with my male cousins and obviously the females goes without saying.

I remember with a family I stayed with in Mexico, the son (my friend) would tell his dad he loved him and they would hug and kiss before we headed out to the bars. So yeah, different cultures, different customs. Hence the reason for traveling the world, dont you think?
