Default Religious material/medicines

Hello all,

We have been advised that any religious materials are not allowed into Dubai.

Our son has a picture book bible and some bible stories and a CD of Bible stories- would this be considered illegal or enough to stop our entire furniture shipment from arriving when we move?

Also, are there any medicines which we should get rid of or are cold and flu syrups and tylenol cold etc ok? I have seen a few pieces written up on this but haven't been able to find anywhere that specifies what is ok and not ok.

Thanks for your help!

No problem bringing in the bible etc. They are sold in book stores here.

Just watch for over the counter medicines that contain codeine. Others are usually fine (see posted lists.). Tylenol is available here too.
