Hello!

I am currently working in Al Ain as a Nurse and my 2 year contract will end on Oct 19,2013 as printed on my labour card. My residence visa will expire on Nov 23,2013. I have decided not to renew my contract.

I am planning to go to Philipines for short vacation for important matters, around 10-15 days after the end of my contract on Oct 19. Can I come back in the UAE using my current residence visa, before my residence visa expiry date without getting in to trouble? I have a job offer also in a new company but they will process my papers after I have returned here in UAE.

I hope you could give me ideas regarding this matter.
Thanks guys!

Once your contract is done they will cancel your visa before you leave the country. I suggest you finish your contract and cancel your visa then submit your papers to the new work place where they will start the procedure of obtaining a new visa for you. One of the requirements of obtaining a new visa is check out the country, and you can do this to visit your home. Once your papers are done here you can come back with the new visa.

You can always ask them if it is ok to process your cancellation after you return from your holiday.

However, your final pay will not be processed until they cancel your visa, so you would have to wait a while to get your final pay
