Hi,

Do you need to get your birth certificate attested before moving to Dubai? I know you need your education certificates doing but was unsure about the birth one?

You do need attested birth certificates of any kids you may have and want to sponsor - but that was probably not your question

In this case, you will need to get your marriage certificate attested. I believe birth certs only if you are sponsoring your children (if any).

just to be sure, you are aware that there are restrictions on women sponsoring husbands? you can only do it if you are an engineer, doctor or teacher and you must have a minimum salary.

sorry, forgot to add, you can apply for special dispensation but the minimum salary is much higher.
