Thanks Anita! My cousin's planning to go to Dubai in the upcoming months. I'll lead him to this forum.

Dubai already started to welcome visitors on July 7 after a long no activity due to the pandemic Covid 19 issues. When announcing the news, it is clearly mentioned that there are no age restrictions for the individuals coming to Dubai. So, it will not be a problem for your grandfather to visit Dubai.

But there are restrictions and strict rules to follow if you are willing to visit Dubai. Only people from selected countries can travel to Dubai during this time. You have not mentioned the country in your post and hence it is not possible for me to provide the exact information related to your inquiry.

If the country in which your grandfather currently resides is among the allowed countries list, then you can apply for a visit visa or will have the possibility to get entry visa upon arrival.

Other notable instructions include:

1. Travelers require to take a PCR test at least within 96 hours before the journey and must have the negative COVID-19 test result certificate.

2. Must have an insurance policy covering COVID-19

3. The passengers may be taken to another PCR test upon arrival in Dubai, and they need to self-isolate once reached their place till the test result arrives. If it is negative, they are permitted to leave out of home or hotel and if the result is positive, they need to follow the DHA (Dubai Health Authority) instructions.

Iím working as a Business Executive at TadbeerVisa, a MoHRE licensed domestic workers visa service providing centre in Dubai. All the information shared above are collected from a reliable source.

You can ask me here for any further information or clarification on this request.

Thanks,
Navaz Ibrahim
