cyprus to Dubai

Hi, British citizen currently living in Cyprus with my 2 daughters. Thinking about relocating to Dubai but have a few questions if anyone cares to answer:

Can I commence dental treatment, health checks and just pay cash or do I have to have medical insurance.

I understand for a fee after the first 30 days on a visit visa I can extend 2 more times but after this I must leave Dubai and come back and do the visit visa again and with 2 more extensions.....is this what other people do?

I plan to stay for 90 days and see if we like to continue living there but at the same time do all our medical tests, dental, specialists etc and just pay cash.

Recommendations to search online for 4 bedroom serviced aparthotels.

Thank you in advance.

You don't need to as a tourist

Yes, but most come here either with a job or job hunting on different visa arrangments

Thats serious money unless you plan on living in some very old parts of town.

Lots of hotels have serviced apartments and it kind of depends upon your budget, but for a 4 bed thats serious cash and most people when job hunting come alone and the family follows on when the job is secured.

You are welcome but for clarity you do understand you will need a job to live in Dubai ?

Your kids will not be able to go to school here until you have a Wrok Visa even though you can live in hotels and do border runs.

Happy New Year !

My husband will support me financially as he is in Saudi Arabia and my kids are home schooled.
