It did not mention Israa & Miirage public holiday. April 3rd.

Prophet Muhamad birthday holiday is also missing. November 9.

So here goes your missing 2 days.

What confuses me is Eid holiday, Is it 4 or 3, look from the article it says:

Quote:
"June 3 to 6, 2019. This three-day Eid (holy feast) marks the end of the month of fasting, Ramadan".

It is 4 days. As per the official announcement from the Twitter page.

Except the Twitter announcement is mathematically inaccurate.

Which is right - mathematics or the words ?

You are making the assumption they are missing and have not been deliberately taken out to harmonise the public and private sector holidays though.

So here is the thing, the Twitter announcement says 29 - 3 (arabic calender)

Now the month of Ramadan can either be 29 or 30 days depending on the mom sighting.

The statement can actually translate to either 4 days (if month is 29 days) or 5 (if 30)

Well, you could be right. Many Arab countries don't give those 2 days as holidays. But then there would still be a missing day. They announced 14 days for both sectors;

1: New Year
4: Eid Fitr
4: Eid Adha
1: Hijri New Year
1: Martyr day
2: National holiday

That's a total of 13 days. Where is the missing day ? My expectation it would be Prophet Muhamad birthday.
