Default Baggage Delivery Service on Arrival

Hi there,

just a quick question: My folks are visiting next week flying in via Emirates, and they are bringing along 2 large boxes, which may pose an issue for them in trying to get a regular taxi. Are there services on offer at the Arrivals Hall at T3 for them to utilize to get the boxes delivered to my place?

On the Dubai Airports website, it's listed that Emirates offer such a service. However I gave the number listed a call, and the lady on the other end said Emirates did NOT offer such services to deliver passengers' bags/items. Hence the need to ask the forum if anyone knows of any delivery services upon arrival. the dimensions are 102x125x20 and 96x59x58, all measurements in CM.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice in this matter, have a great weekend ahead!

Cheers.

Just grab a luggage chap at the carousel and choose one of the MPV taxis where they can put the rear seats down. It's what I do with a bike box.

92cm height x 113cm Long x 32cm

Your biggest problem will be getting the airline to accept it into the flight as it may simply exceed the hold baggage limit.

Thanks for the reply it's much appreciated! Apparently the Emirates reps in the Singapore Office said the dimensions are good for the boxes to be checked in, so hopefully no issues on the day itself.

In that case maybe 2 MPV taxis will work, one for the boxes and the other for the 3 of them and the other luggages. Cheers!
