Mail order from the UK is no problem, we often buy from Cotton Trades who charge around £7-8 delivery and from Next who deliver for free if order over €30; they send via DHL to Cyprus and then a company called ACS deliver to our house and from order to delivery normally takes 3-5 working days, so far we have found it to be an excellent service.
Mail order in Cyprus is very much in its infancy with only the biggest stores such as Ikea and Leroy Merlins having a website whereby you can order direct but you are then clobbered with delivery costs. However, seeing as you can drive from one end of the island to the other in under 2hrs, do you really need mail order from Cypriot companies? Its easier to go to the store, pay and collect and with larger items normally if the cost is around €200 or more delivery is usually free anyway.

It would be good for people with mobility problems. I suppose driving etc isn't a given for everyone.
