It can be really difficult to make new friends in a new city - so how about having a virtual cup of coffee and maybe arranging a social do?

Hi there,
me and my partner moved from the UK a few months ago after previously visiting new Zealand on work holiday visa's. We are 27 and 28 and currently going through the process of skilled migrant visa. Any peeps similar ages shoot us a message and we can organise something. p.s. we are children free.

Tauranga and or Routora? Seem like really interesting places to settle but don't know how easy it is to find jobs, though I see some posted in those regions in my computer occupations.

Good luck, there should be more people to find. At your age goto Couchsurfing.com, where MANY visitors for school or long vacation your ages are tramping through NZ and would love to become friends. You could then give tips if they wish to stay. Or you could become a regular host meeting many travelers from around the world as a host for stays or just to meet for coffee or travel sites.

ok i'm not in Tauranga yet and sooooo hoping my husband will be posted to there or at least Bay of Pleanty, but those who are there and have a dog. Do you know of the local agility scene and what it's like? Also what area's are considered dog friendly?

Also nothing to do with dogs is the local Lone Star cafe any good? One thing that keeps me motivated is knowing i'll be eating there again soon lol.. I was so a labrador in a past life!!!

Looking foreword to meeting some of you if the cafe meet up is still happening
