Exclamation 135 points in immigration points, what are the chances

Hello friends,
I was just calculating my pointsto see where i stand, I happen to have just 135 points, 5 short of 140 to be automatically picked. Although my job and education fall in the skill shortage list, but since I dont have an offer in hand, what are my chances??

Education - MBA in Marketing, Bachelors in IT
Work ex - 9 yrs
Age - 29

should i even bother applying for skilled migrant category or do i have any other options

let me know what you guys feel

Hi

As Historical data suggests, EOI with 135 points, were selected in April, Oct and Nov last year.

It all depends upon what quality of EOI are available in the pool, if 140+ points are not good in number then 135 points EOI with Conditions ( claiming 15 bonus points for work experience in an area of absolute skill shortage)
So I would say you have slight hope to be picked up.
Check historical data here EOI selections

Once you submit your EOI, it would be active for 6 months in pool to be picked. If it doesn't picked up in 6 months then it is expired.

Good Luck

135 is a good score without a job offer but you have little chance of selection.
Yes there is a chance EOI's with 135 points could get picked in the future after automatic selections are exhausted but those that are picked with a lower score will all have bonus points for a job offer which you don't have.

No there aren't agents scouring the EOI submissions offering to give you a job which would in turn increase your points.
