Default Partner's (Doctor) Qualification Assessment

Could you please advise me on claiming 20 points for spouse qualification. My spouse is a Doctor (General Practitioner) and can I claim her qualification points if I get her Qualification Assessment done from NZQA.

I have searched the NZ Immigration website and I got this conclusion that since I am a principle applicant and she will accompany me as a spouse, I guess she doesn't need to get registration of NZ Medical Council, but if she does a practice in NZ then she needs NZ Medical Council registration.

Could you please advise me whether my conclusion is appropriate or not.

Many thanks

Yes that is correct.
So long as you have your partners qualification assessed and she meets the English Language requirement to be a principal applicant like you then you can claim the 20 bonus points for partner.
