My worry is, if it is just work permit, during interview the CO said, I only can travel and once I get job I have to process dependent visa for my wife and son, which is again unnecessary expenses. The CO said, if its full approval then all can travel. So, I need to wait for CO email.

hI Vjan29,
First of all you please clarify this, have you applied for SMC category or work Visa (not possible without job offer)? I thing you applied SMC. If it is approved as SMC Job search Visa then you only can travel first and secure a job then you have to inform to New Zealand Immigration office along with your job offer letter, then your Visa immediately converted to Residency Visa then you can call all other dependents that are mentioned in your application. In this case not necessary to apply again for your wife and your son. If it is approved by SMC Residency then all together can travel now.

If it is extra line (like travel condition) below to 'Approved' then it might be SMC JSV visa, but yours is Residency Visa it seems. Congrats friend…

hi er.barathi81,

I remember I applied under SMC category, but not SMC Job search. I am confused. OK I verified the Online application now, it says Visa Type Residency APPROVED. I see nothing else conditions added.
But, clarify me, the conditions you are saying will be mentioned Online itself? Or the conditions will be mentioned in my actual Visa later?

As per the other forum members reply those who are approved with Work to residency visa, there is an extra line will be added below the ‘Approve’ under Decision heading, if you click that extra line new window will open and it will give the other terms and conditions of the visa. Nothing to worry for your case, All can travel together with you.

Congrats Vjan29

Its time to celebrate, dont worry, you will get Residence without any condition.
Actual picture will be clear through CO mail.

I must say, they have responded quickly in your case, just a week after your interview

Good Luck

Hi Vjan29,

This is just for the info, Does your present and past Employers are got verified(by Email/Phone) by your CO after your ITA? And is there any change in Medical received date when ITA lodged and just before the Approved date?

Thanks,

Thanks,
Yes Medical Certificate actual submission date is changed after the Interview. They changed to current date.
The CO sent email to my present employer, becoz the manager and HR contacted me and asked what to respond. About the old company, I am not sure if the CO officer sent email to them, but I have given full contact details of old employer, I have also informed the old company HR about this. But not sure if verification was made.

BTW, why they change medical certificate submission date, Is this because the date should not get expired?
