Default IQA outcome - Clarification on LTSSL

Hi,

Good day!

I recieved my outcome for my IQA for my qualification Master of technology Software Enfineering. But i think i didnt recieve the points for LTSSL eventhough i applied for it along my IQA. In my pdf it is mentioned as below

Assessment Outcome: Master's degree at Level 9

When i recieved mail it is mentioned as below,

"Skill Shortage List Assessment

If you requested the Skill Shortage List Assessment Add-On but your qualification does not meet the qualification requirements for the occupation selected in the Skill Shortage List, the recognition statement will not show any information relating to the Skill Shortage List. Only positive outcomes will be shown on the recognition statement."

As per above i think i didnt recieve LTSSL points. Now what to do. Is it i need to appy ITPNZ to claim bonus points or i need to apply IQA for my bachelors degree also along with LTSSL. Your valuable suggestions needed on this. Thanks.

Yes, go for ITPNZ Evidence Document assessment, btw why haven't you included your Bachelor's degree for assessment?

Hi nickchik,

Thanks for your prompt response.

When i applied IQA, there was no option to submit multiple qualification. Since there is no option to submit multiple qualification, so i submitted my highest qualification alone.

Based on your clarification you provided, so no need to apply a separate new IQA application for Bachelors degree with add on LTSSL , instead i apply for ITPNZ right.

Right, you can claim Level 9 points of your Masters degree and bonus points when you clear ITP assessment.

Hi nickchick,

Thanks for your quick response. In that case i will go ahead with ITPNZ assessment instead of applying new IQA application for bachelors degree.

Will ping here if any further clarification needed on this. Thanks.

Just keep in mind, ITPNZ assessment is a one time chance if you won't clear it in first attempt then reattempt is not an option. It is not like an IQA application, it is an application which tests your IT skills so take your take time to prepare the application or you may take guidance of a professional as well.

Oh okok. In worst case say if ITPNZ not cleared, in that case is it possible if i apply IQA , this time for my bachelors degree add on with LTSSL, and if gain successful outcome then can use it to claim bonus points right..

Note: as mentioned already i applied IQA and got outcome for Masters degree alone since no option to apply for multiple qualification.

Ok noted thanks.

May be what can you suggest based on your experience.

1. Is it i first apply ITPNZ or i apply IQA for my bachelors degree with add on LTSSL.

2. Also is applying IQA for bachelors degree is mandatory since i applied IQA only for my highest qualification which is Masters degree as of now. Later stages say EOI or ITA, will immigration officers request for IQA for bachelors degree also?

Your valuable suggestions required on this. Thanks.

1. Apply for ITPNZ, no need to apply IQA for bachelors degree.

2. In LTSSL, it is mentioned "A bachelor's degree at NZQF Level 7, or a higher qualification" as you have Level 9 which is meeting the requirement therefore, CO won't request for IQA for bachelors degree.
