Applying for NZ PR
My post here is more about knowing if NZ PR is really worth going for?

I have known a few people who have been in NZ for a short while before opting for Australia and they have a common reason of moving out of NZ which is lack of IT jobs, or much lesser opportunities compared to Australia.

We are currently based in Australia and are Australia PR aspirants, but looking at the grim number of invites in the last few months, have been wondering if we should opt for NZ PR instead? Have initiated discussions with a couple of migration agents in NZ (which is recommended because lack of job offer might lead to disapproving of the NZ PR application, and the migration agents often help in assessing the chances of getting a job), who have said that the probability of us getting an NZ PR is high.

Are in a indecisive situation, considering the amount of fees that would have to be paid to the agent!

SMC category visa is good option. Process to apply is straight forward. First calculate your points, if you are able to get minimum 160. If yes, give English language test and get your education assessed by IQA. Submit your EOI and wait for selection.
You can take LIA services at ITA stage in case your profile is complicated or need explanation for certain points.
