Hi,

Requested for your advice regarding the application of Newzealand PR.

I have completed Master of Computer Applications MCA and BSc (Maths, Statistics and Computer Science). Currently, having 8 years of exp in IT field.
Kindly do let me know am I eligible under the SMC and heard like NZ immigration is not giving bonus points for the MCA graduation, please confirm.

Could someone please give clarity on these points

Thanks,
Shiva

First check your score via points calculator. If you are getting minimum 160, your eoi will be selected under SMC category.
Regarding LTSSL, it depends on subjects of bachelors degree. If you are having enough Computer related subjects, you will be able to get 15 extra points.

Thanks. I have checked my points, if i am taking my qualification as 9 and selecting additional bonus points im reaching 165. Under my graduation it is BSC computer science(Maths,Statistics and computer science). Well some of the consultancy are saying, NZ immigration they are only considering bachelors if we go with the Long term short list. Searchng so many blogs for this clarification. Please help me on it.
