Arrow ITP Evidence document - Help

Hi Expats,
I am filling ITA after my EOI accepted. I have received IQA verification done and I am looking to complete ITPNZ education verification. The form ITP Evidence document is difficult to fill. Anybody has a sample to share or any help in this regard. I have completed my MCA and I need to provide a letter from IT Professionals New Zealand certifying that the degree meets the benchmark requirements towards Chartered IT Professional New Zealand

Any help greatly appreciated.

Roy

No I haven't heard anything back from expats. I need verification from ITPNZ (itp.nz/Activities/Immigration/Qualification-Recognition-Application) . I hope you are also trying the same. I have submitted the evidence document and waiting for the result if the result is positive, I will share the details.

Hi Maggie,

What I had done is, mapping the syllabus with the sections.
Item#1 Problem Analysis (1st item) -- Papers studied 1) System analysis and design 2) Algorithmics 3) DBMS etc.
Item#2 Depth of coverage - included the syllabus in details. (You need complete syllabus to map)

Item#3 Structured eduction - explained the course structure, project, seminar etc

I am yet to hearback from them and I am not sure this is right

Hi Roy
Thanks for the info.
I had a couple of more queries.
I wanted to know how much work ex you have. ALl the info u have given is based on your course material n not experience. Any particular reason for that? Am I missing something in the ITP gUide?

Why i am asking is as I have work ex in SAP from the past few years which is not completely related to my course material.
just wanted some help on how to proceed further.

Hi Maggi,
This is what NZ immigration team requested in the email,

"If your IQA indicates your qualification is comparable to a generic outcome, such as a bachelor’s degree at level 7 or higher, you will also need to provide a letter from IT Professionals New Zealand certifying that the degree and any further learning meet the benchmark requirements towards Chartered IT Professional New Zealand"

But I had included my work experience in the section "Other information" and attached experience letter.
You can always include your work experience in any of the sections if required.

Once again thanks.
So this means that in the letter we should provide data specific to the course ?

It says our degree and further learning should meet the benchmark set by NZ ITP.
In most of the cases, eg mechanical engineer applying for s/w engineer, a candidate needs to substantiate their learning through experience. they will have to create an experience letter showing "analysis /problem solving /teamwork .. .. .." skills. So that these can be mapped to one of the sections in the ITP evidence document.

In my opinion, please include your learning and project experience.
