Hi Sunil.
I am also in same boat as you are.My graduation is BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) followed by Post Graduation MCA.
1)I hope I will get additional 15 points for Absolute skill shortage as I am applying for the skill in LTSSL?
2)my details
Age: 35 years
Ielts score:7
Software testing experience: 10+ years
Spouse: Bsc maths and MCA with 10+ years in IT
Should I apply as main applicant to claim bonus points as I have done bca and my spouse is bsc?
3) Should I get IQA done for myself as well as my spouse?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts

Thank You for the details Sukumar. My graduation is BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) followed by Post Graduation MCA. I hope I will get additional 15 points for Absolute skill shortage as I am applying for the skill in LTSSL. Also can you please confirm if you have enquired anyone about the Job opportunities and whether people are successful in getting the PR after going there on the Job Search Visa? I will do my search as well. However, if you have heard any success stories like this then it will give some relief for us to go without hesitation.

Hi sunilkk;

Did you received JSV or RV. Which job code you applied? I also did BCA and MSc(IS). What is the result you got from IQA?

I got my ITA and waiting to submit the documents. while submitting the documents, any key information you come across please highlight those to me.

Thanks

Hi Samar,

I haven't submitted my documents yet. I have received the ITA only last week. I am still in the process of collecting the documents. I have applied for the job code 135112 - ICT Project Manager. What about you? I am sure I will receive only JSV as I dont have experience or study in New Zealand. What about you and which code did you apply for?

I have received my IQA today and got the Level 9 for M.Sc(IS) and Level 7 for BCA.

Related to the key information, the biggest challenges for me are the delay in getting the Birth Certificate document from my home town and the PCC from UK. I am yet to receive both these documents.

Hi

My job code is Software Engineer (1313). How we know that we get RSV or RV. Is there any constraints to get RV.

I am also waiting for Birth certificate, which is a big time taking process.

Is marriage certificate is enough for partnership information?
OR we have to provide all 2 and 3 which was in the document

2) joint tenancy agreement, join ownership, join mortgage, joint insurance.....
3) Photos, letter to support, travel itineraries....

we can provide 3 but i don't have 2 related item. Is it OK to submit without 2 option.

Unless your EOI includes points for an NZ skilled job offer OR qualifying NZ study experience OR NZ skilled work experience you WILL NOT be approved RV as new rules prevent this from happening now.
If you have submitted EOI without one of these three criteria, irrespective that you have at least 160 points you will only get JSV for the principal applicant only.
So the constraints to getting approval for RV is that you MUST have one of these three criteria AND you must have at least 160 points on the EOI.

Marriage certificate on its own is nowhere near enough evidence to prove partnership. You have to provide many forms of evidence spanning at least the last 12 months. Ensure anything you send to Immigration is either - the original document, OR a certified copy.
The items you specify in 2) and 3) are kind of essential to prove the relationship. If you don't have all of these then think about alternatives - e.g. mobile phone bills etc. Things don't have to be in joint names but showing bills going to the same address for individuals is good.

If you cannot get the birth certificate then you need to get a certificate from the Municipal Authority stating "No Record of Birth registration". You then need to get the notary done with your 10th Marksheet and Passport by the Notary lawyer.

Need to submit 'no record of birth registration' certificate, 10th marksheet, passport and the notary copy as a proof of birth.

My EOI got selected and received ITA. How many points you are getting without Partner points? Give me the details of your points calculation if you need any other information

Qualifications :-------------------- -->70 or 50 points?

MCA --> Will i get 9 points in IQA?

Hi Dasari,

1. I am not sure if you would get Level 9 for your MCA as your Bachelor's degree is Non computers. You may check other links in this forum regarding this or need to for IQA with a risk. I got level 9 for my MCA as I did my Degree BCA.
2. You can claim points under Long Term shortage skills as ICT-Project Manager is in that list. I did the same and got the relevant points.
3. I doubt M.Sc (Chemistry) would be awarded Level 9 qualification. Again, you may check other links in this forum.
