Dear escapedtonz

What is meant by:

Send your passport to your nearest visa application centre (VAC)* to be scanned within three months of the date of this letter.

Does it mean pasting of Visa sticker on passport or just scanning? (for what purpose)

Could someone help me with the following information please:

1. Do we have to attach all the Notary certified copies for the ITA application?
2. What are all the hard copies (certified or Original) that have to be sent to INZ by courier?

All copies must be attested by notary public, PCC and IQA report should be send in original.

hi guys,

I have same points breakdown as yours. My occupation is Software Engineer.

Age = 30 points
Work experience 10 years = 50 points
Qualification (IQA done with MS Level 9 and Bachelor at Level 7) = 70 points for MS
LTSS = 15
Total points = 165

After you guys submitted the document, did you got reduction in points ? Because my assumption is that If you are claiming points for LTSS then you could only claim points for Bachelor degree and not Masters. And thus making total points to 155 (LTSS - 15 + bachelor- 50).

OR your application was accepted as it is and you got RV visa?

Please let me know your response on this.

Thanks

If you are claiming the assessed Masters at Level 9 as your highest qualification then it will achieve 70 points.
With regards to the Absolute Skill Shortage bonus points, so long as you have a Level 7 degree (which you have) and you meet all the other criteria as listed in the Requirements column on the LTSSL for that occupation then you will also score the extra 15 points.
Yes, you can only claim for one main qualification in the application, however since all qualifications above Bachelors degree at Level 7 is too high to claim the Absolute Skill Shortage bonus points you are allowed to use the Level 7 degree for this area of the EOI only in order to get the additional 15 points.
