Default Planning to move NZ

HI All,

My wife and I are planning to move NZ from India.
My wife is getting post-graduation done from NZ university and I am illegible for open work permit for 2 year. I want to know the following:

1. How difficult is to get a job in NZ (as I want to apply for PR, after getting a job).
2. What are the are the hourly wage, in NZ.
3. What is the leaving expenses (as we have 2 year daughter).
4. After securing a job in NZ, can we get the PR.

As we want to settle in NZ, we wont want to spend and then not able to settle,

I will appreciate if any one can reply to my post

Thank

Hi,
Yes, as your wife will be in NZ on a study visa, assuming you meet the criteria you should be able to secure a temporary work visa based on partnership for the same period as the period of your wife's study visa.

1. Depends on the occupation and where in NZ you'll be living ? If you wish to apply for RV (you cannot apply for PR) after getting a job then the job must be skilled.
2. Depends on the occupation ?
3. Depends where you'll be living ?
4. If you can score sufficient points on the EOI then it is possible to secure RV. You'll need at least 140 points without a job offer or at least 100 points with a job offer. If you rely on partner points you may need to wait until she has completed her study and maybe some post graduation work experience ?
