Default Reg: migration to canada for pre primary/kindergarden teachers

Hi,

I am working as a kindergarden teacher with 3 years experience. planning to migrate to Canada.
pls clarify below:

a) minimum points(CRS score) required to get invitation.
b) minimum ielts score to put my application for invitation.
c) how is the career for kindergarden teachers in Canada? is it worth to move for this job type.

regards,

You found this forum but cannot find that info on the GoC website?

Why are you asking about Canada as a whole? First, Canada is the second largest country in the world so the job market will vary widely from one region to the next. As a result, one cannot ask about Canada as a whole. Second, education is a provincial matter in Canada not a federal one. Third, all of our provinces have way too many teachers already so you will be unable to find a job. Why would you be hired when there are already so many Canadian teachers looking for work? Fourth, you cannot work as a teacher unless you are licensed to do so. And finally, your degrees might not be considered as equivalent to Canadian degrees and thus might not be accepted here.

The territories have a shortage of teachers. Don;t know if they have a program to attract foreign teachers to fill the gap. But do realize that there is a reason why no Canadian teachers prefer to live there.

You couldn't pay me enough to live in any of the territories, and I am used to living in Canada. Can you imagine what a shock it would be for someone from a country like India???
