Default SQL Server / Datawarehousing / Database Developer jobs in Canada

Hi

I have started my PR visa process for Canada & Australia. One of the factors that would go a long way in deciding which country i would go for is the job opportunities in bith of these countries. I checked out a few job portals but could not get anything concrete. Since many of you are experienced people working in Canada i thought I can get first hand information. My skills are

SQL Server - Datawarehousing , Database development & Architect
BIG Data - Hadoop ecosystem - PIG, Hive , Flume, SQOOP , HDFS concepts
Tableau - Desktop

Thanks & Regards
Chirag

You cannot ask about job opportunities in Canada as it is the second alrgest country in the world and job opportunities will vary widely from one region to the next, as well as within regions.

It will also depend on your previous work experience, your interpersonal skills, your networking talents, and your knowledge of the language.

These are good skills that you possess and has demand in the market. Say, if you have 6 to 8 years of IT experience then you can expect 100,000 CAD as salary for a full time job. Contracting jobs that pay by the hour or day will be higher.

GTA is the best place for your job hunt.

Or French... Canada has two official languages. English is spoken in most provinces while French is predominantly spoken in Quebec.
