Post Job Offer Letter

Hi,

Im a British citizen and I live in Brazil with my wife. My company is offering me a new position to start in march/2016 to work for them in London with a 19k gross salary per year. As we want to apply for the spouse visa (CAT A), my company gave me a job offer letter, describing the job, salary, starting date and ending date (01/03/2016 to 01/03/2017), mentioning that the contract could be extended.

Is there anything else that should contain?

(a) confirming the job offer, the gross annual salary and the starting date of the employment which must be within 3 months of the applicant's partner's return to the UK; or
(b) enclosing a signed contract of employment, which must have a starting date within 3 months of the applicant's partner's return to the UK.

Do you currently earn 18,600 GBP per annum?

You have to have been earning this amount to apply under Cat A as :

5.2. Category A: With current employer for 6 months or more
overseas sponsor returning to the UK
