What survey? Who carried out the survey? Who was surveyed? How many were surveyed? What was the question?

Most of us old hands are very cautious about this type of survey after a financial company carried out a survey and all the newspapers including the Telegraph printed the story that more than half of all expats in Spain were going to return to UK. It turns out that it was just ploy by the company to drum up business. The question was "Would you consider going back to the UK?" The number of people surveyed was less than 250 and of those, more than half declined to answer so, in reality, only about 60 said they were considering going back to UK. Hardly the basis for an internationally published bit of scaremongering?
