Default Gaps in Communication?

Hi everyone! This may be a dumb question, but it doesn't hurt to ask I guess.

I am just wondering , for the relationship section of the application (spouse visa), I have printed all of our Skype logs and emails, and also some call logs on my mobile. We are missing a few dates of communication.

I have Facebook chat messages from all the dates, but it would take a lot of pages. Do you think it is necessary to include these too. These are the dates I am missing, there are 21 total days, where I have no log of us speaking, even though we did chat using messenger.

TIMES APART

1/24-2/12- Missing 0 days

2/20-3/18- Missing 11 days

4/10-5/29- Missing 7 days

8/31-9/12-Missing 1 day

9/14-9/26- Missing 2 days

I just donít want them to think we just didnít talk for those days, even though we did, it was just through Facebook chat. I also donít want to include too much extra paperwork that I may not need. The dates are not consecutive, the most days I am missing in a row is 3. Any advice is helpful! Thanks again!!

xxxx

Megan

You need 10-15 log pages from across your relationship so 1-2 log pages every 6 months or so depending on how long you have been in a relationship. You do not need to account for every single day.

Just so long as you've covered the LDR period at evenly spaced intervals you will be fine!

This was just my personal experience, but we showed a couple of snippets of chat once every 2-4 weeks, and it was fine. You definitely don't need to provide evidence of daily communication.

Thanks everyone for your help! I think we will be fine with what we have then if that is the case. We almost have communication from everyday apart, so it should be enough. Biometrics appt tomorrow, then sending in documents right after! Excited and scared! Thanks for all the help from this forum!

Sorry for jumping on your thread... I'm having problems with communication proof. We have been in a relationship for over 6 years and we had no desire to live in uk until recently... im from uk by the way. I don't know how i will find emails etc from 6 years ago! We've changed our email addresses, phone numbers within 6 years. And when you print the emails do you actually print the emails with the contents or just a copy of the actual email address in the folder on outlook? I don't really want random people reading our emails.... Any suggestions is much welcome! Thanks again

No worries! I just provided multiple screenshots of my inbox showing our emails to each other. I even actually blacked out any personal stuff that was on there with a sharpie because I too felt uncomfortable for anyone else reading certain things. But all the addresses and names and subject lines are shown. I just sent my app off a couple days ago so hopefully that's alright. I read someone else on here say they did the same . Hope that helps a bit, good luck with your app!
