Default Documents for fiance VISA

I was wondering for the fiance VISA do all documents need to be originals? Even the documents I have to send in for my fiance like his bank statements ect... if not originals do they all have to be notorized? Also I know they want proof of relationship... well I have plenty of skype logs and phone logs ... how much should I send in? If I sent in every single skype log I'd probably have to send it in a box. What about pictures? How many pictures suffice? I have read where people have sent in LOADS of stuff and others just sent in a few items. I cant imagine the border agency would want to go through tons and tons of personal stuff.

Any advice? thx

Basically you need to send original documents. The only document that can be a photocopy is your fiancé's British passport, as they have access to details electronically. If you cannot send an original, you can send a notorised or certified copy, but you must enclose a letter explaning why you are sending a copy.

As for how much, you must decide what is relevant, avoiding duplication. You should aim at sending at least a couple of evidence per year of your relationship. For skype and emails, avoid overtly personal ones and just send representative samples, plus logs (date and time). For photos, again a few per year, such as birthdays, Christmas and holidays. Make sure there are no long gaps (like 6 months) without a supporting document. Most people arrive at a sensible balance between sending too much and too little.
