Default Payslips

Quick question regarding payslips for spouse visa.

I am submitting November 2012 - April 2013 of payslips. I am going to the bank today to get my last statement and flying out tomorrow.

I get paid on 25th of each month so will be paid today and the salary covers the entire month, so today salary is for 1st April to 30th April.

It's only just occurred to me that I won't have a bank statement from 26th April to 30th April.. I have 6 months of bank statements but only up until today.

Do I need the next 5 days statement too if my April salary covers up to 30th April?

Thank you so much.

I've been trying to establish exactly the same. Going by the wording in the following document it would seem so:

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/si...df?view=Binary

Quote:
(c) Personal bank statements corresponding to the same period(s) as the wage slips at
paragraph 2(a), showing that the salary has been paid into an account in the name of
the person or in the name of the person and their partner jointly.
So, I will be visiting my bank to ask them to stamp a print out from their website. (Potentially going to be a headache - from what I have read, banks can be very inconsistent about their willingness to do this.)

Sorry, mate. I am on night shift and in a very sleepy state. I mis-read what you wrote earlier. I think you will be fine as long as your bank statement and payslips cover the same period. The days after won't matter. (At least that is how I interpret the requirements.)

My interpretation of it is that if you get paid on 25 April you need a bank statement that shows this payment on 25 April, too. I could be wrong though.

All the best, mate!

(I just realised our "HR Reference" department - or part of it - is in Chennai.)

If you actually need the latest salary paid on 25th April to evidence your income during the past 6 months, you must enclose relevant bank statement showing it has been paid into your account. You can ask for relevant online statement stamped and signed by a local branch in UK (not in India as they are completely separate from UK branch network and have no access to your account details directly), or get someone to send you the latest original statement.

Thank you Joppa.

I got paid today and I went into barclays today. They stamped online statements showing today's salary but what I am confused about is if I need a statement from 26th April to 30th April because my monthly salary covers 1st April to 30th April.

Thanks so much.
