Is employment contract required?

May I ask does the translation for your Marriage certificate need to be authorized (translated from a qualified translation company) or just translated by yourself?

Thanks

Hi, I've never used an employment contract. But always used some sort of letter from your employer confirming role.

The translation was done soon as I got married by a professional company. Not sure if you can do it yourself. Its just basically an English version of the certificate.

Thanks.

It just needs to be professionally translated, you can't do the translation yourself

SET(M) now asks for an employment contract as part of the checklist but it isn't a required document (the employer letter is, however)

Hi all. Any feedback? Before I submit the documents today / tomorrow - now that June applicants are likely to book appts. Thank you.

You really don't need last year's P60, it doesn't offer any value at all. Same with the lawyer's letter or a property inspection for a place you no longer live.

Otherwise it looks fine to me. Good luck

Hi Clever Octopus, thank you. You're right about last yrs p60, cause it does say its optional & for financial youre relying on.
About the solicitors letters, its for new home purchase, which clarifies change of address.

Thanks for all your help.
