Unhappy UKVCAS Appointment Delays

Does anyone have information related to the impossibility of new UKVCAS appointments? I've submitted my application, paid, and registered with UKVCAS. But. Now I can't book an appointment. From what I gather, they are working through the backlog of applicants that have had to cancel, and there is an automatic extension in place for everyone *that already registered months ago* through 31 July. BUT. I am not in that window - I have only just registered and my BRP expires next month outside the stated extension.

So, I am sort of stuck. I can't book an appointment, can't upload docs, already paid, and no idea at all what I'm supposed to do now.

Actually, I panicked too soon. I've just had an email where I can access the upload, and apparently they will contact ME when I can book an appointment. Hopefully this might help someone else.

We are worried. We cannot book an appointment either. Edinburgh and Glasgow are the centers near us and they both say no appointments available all the way to end of august where the calendar dates stop. Husbands Visa's due to run out in August. Hoping we receive and email like you did. Going to start scanning / uploading our documents in the mean time.
If anyone knows something I dont feel free to help me lol

You don't need to panic - If you've submitted the online application, you're covered under Section 3C where you can continue to live/work (if your current visa allows work) in the UK even if your visa expires. If you're on a work visa, you can continue working as long as you have a valid COS. Your continued right to work and rent is verifiable directly with the Home Office
