Default FLR M Doc Uploading

Hello,

I read that documents should be in grey scale and under 6 mb. Just wanted to confirm if it is okay to upload some in color provided they are under the recommended size.
My passport pages are much clearer in color so feel it would be a better option for uploading and my bank statements are also in color.

Many thanks
Jessica

Hi Jessica,
I saw some people wrote on the forum previously, color is fine as long as it is less than 6MB.
I am about to submit my application for set(m) and have prepared a lot of files. I was wondering when you are uploading, does it have different folders/sections? Does it give you an option to create subfolders/section to oragnise the files?
Thanks

Hi mcc1380,

I posted information on uploading and folders a while back and it may answer some of your questions above. It can be found here. ( I'm not sure if the file categories are the same for FLR and ILR, but it gives you an idea of how things are done on the website where we upload documents. )

https://www.expatforum.com/expats/br...documents.html

For some of the categories I needed to make 2 different files as one file of a max of 6MB wasn't quite enough. There is no option for subfolders, you need to use the folder names they provide on the webpage. Also, you can have as many files as you want or need to provide, but each file you do submit can not be more than 6.0 MB in size. Good luck.

Hope my post will be helpful to others.

There is a lot of debate over the categories to upload documents! I wrote to Sopra Steria for some clarification but at the end of the day, I think the most important part is that the docs are somewhere with the application.
You cant create subfolders.
If you are using your salary as financial proof, all that info goes in financial. p60 in other.
Old passports, biometrics card and sponsor passport in travel.
If you pay 45 quid, they will check the categories and uploads are clear.
thanks for your info regarding color uploads and good luck!
