Default ILR fast track need to travel

Hi, does anyone know if the ILR fasttrack service is planned to be available for new applicants from August? or where I can find out?

or any idea how long ILR visa process is currently taking for applications submitted during coronovirus lockdown?

Visa expires 9 sept but have really sick father with cancer and not been able to travel to visit him due to no flights and my country border still closed - no plans to open it until after 1st August...and then 14 days quarantine on arrival... which is very close to visa expiry date.

1) can i register application and submit documents and then travel before the biometrics appointment? (Will i be able to travel with my passport and Biometric card or do i need to send this at this stage?)

2) what time frame is there between submitting application and having a biometric appointment? - do I select the appointment date? or is it automatically generated? and can it be resheduled if neccesary?

3) how long is it to get the visa after attending a biometric appointment?

I'm really concerned about how long the visa process will take before I can travel... and really unclear how long the backlog could be if no fasttrack option available.

Thanks!

1.not advised to travel whilst an application is pending
2. it was usually pretty quick but with coronavirus could be a few months - you can select date
3. if you go for priority service usually within a day you know and maybe a couple of weeks for your new BRP card

as you can image with the coronavirus everything was stopped , they are slowly opening the centre again but priority will be given to those application that was paused for last 3 months

regarding the earliest you can apply, you mentioned visa expires 9 September , but are you aware that you can apply for ILR on 28 days before 5 year anniversary ( 60 months) this is most instances a month or more before the BRP expiry

THank you.

I am confused with the 5 years... the current FLR visa expires 9th september, that is 5 years since spouse visa granted, but was living in uk 3 months before getting married on a fiance visa... so where do you count the 28 days from?

Is it possible to start an application now even if its not less than 29 days, just so can look through the application and whats needed? or is it best not to do this until 28 days or less?

The earliest you can apply if 28 days before your 5 year anniversary , the fiance stuff does not count towards this

And yes you can start your application know, but only submit it 28 days before your 5 year anniversary
