It's an unusually long time.

Can't tell you what is going on, but you should start enquiries .

You can contact your local MP. They are able to contact the home office on your behalf for an update. You have to include your name and address in the email to prove you are a constituent.

Is there no address/e-mail address on the documentation or confirmation you would have received for your ILR application?

The staff who work at your local MP’s office are able to phone the home office directly on your behalf.
This email was from a couple of years ago, so I don’t know if it is out of date:

[email protected]

Otherwise this is the latest number you can find on their webpage:

UK Visas and Immigration contact centre
Telephone: 0300 123 2241
Monday to Thursday, 9am to 4:45pm
Friday, 9am to 4:30pm

Hi everyone
I spoke to my MP
She’s happy to write a letter to the home office on my behalf
Anyone got their address (ILR department).
Sorry if I’m a bit stupid
Please forgive me
Thank you

Your MP should have a direct line to ring the home office, and also should know the address. It is part of their job to assist you. Try calling again, perhaps the person you spoke to was not aware of this.
You might need to write an email explaining your situation, and give the case number.
